Welcome To Sutton Courtenay AC
Sutton Courtenay Angling Club (SCAC) was formed as the Southport Arms Angling Club in 1932 to retain local fishing for local anglers. Situated in the heart of Oxfordshire the Club offers excellent angling on a wide range of venues for pleasure and match anglers alike. The Club currently boasts 400+ members, eight venues and still counting. It offers fishing along the River Ock and various stretches of the River Thames ranging from the outskirts of Abingdon to as far as the railway bridge crossing the River Thames just short of Clifton Hampden.
We run various Matches throughout the season and all members are welcome to participate. The Club is the proud owner of many valuable cups and trophies which have been fished for by members in Club competitions for many years.
Please check out the forum for bait, tackle and any other venue and fish related information.
This site has been developed to offer news and results of Club matches and to enable members and potential members to communicate.
Thank you for visiting the website. We hope you enjoy it and if you join the Club we will see you on the river bank.
